Job Summary:
GIS Analyst
Expected skills:
1. Experience with Esri’s Roads & Highways
2. Experience in GIS analysis, including the Esri suite of products
3. Experience working with linear referencing systems
4. Knowledge and understanding of GIS principals, theories and practices
5. Skills in development of analysis procedure, complex system integration, software configuration management, and business analysis
6. Experience working with large, relational databases
Description (including, but not limited to):
1. Implementing GIS analytic processes such as change detection and geoprocessing workflows
2. Developing and executing queries or scripts
3. Maintaining roadway centerline and linear referenced data using Esri Roads & Highways
4. Utilizing GIS and organizational best practices to maintain and manage GIS layers
5. Documenting workflows, standards, and best practices
6. Executing test plans for all levels of system testing
7. Developing instructions for application support
